AI in Marketing Workflows (What Actually Works in 2026)
Most AI marketing demos are theater. Here's what I actually use every week — and what I've stopped using.
I've tried every AI marketing tool that launched in 2024-2025. Most of them are solutions looking for problems. Here's the honest list of what survived in my workflow.
What I use daily: Claude for strategy thinking and long-form writing. ChatGPT for quick tactical questions and bilingual copy variations. MidJourney for concept visuals before handing off to designers. n8n for automation between Zoho CRM, email, and social.
What I tried and dropped: AI content calendar tools (they produce generic content at scale, which is the opposite of what you want). AI 'brand voice' tools (they flatten voice instead of sharpening it). AI SEO tools that auto-generate articles (Google is already penalizing these).
The principle that works: use AI to speed up the thinking, not replace it. My best Claude conversations are ones where I disagree with it three times before landing on something good. My worst are the ones where I accept the first output.
The biggest under-used application: AI for qualitative research synthesis. Feed it 50 customer interviews and ask for the pattern. Faster and more honest than a human researcher. This is where AI in marketing actually beats the human version today.
